Project LEADERS Program

WCPSS has received a three-year grant to implement Project LEADERS (Leveraging Employee Advancement to Develop Excellence and Reach Success) in 24 eligible schools in the Wake County district. The program provides teachers and assistant principals with a $1,500 sign-on bonus and principals with a $2,500 sign-on bonus, plus additional bonuses and incentives for retention and student growth-based scores. The program also provides learning stipends, tuition assistance and more.

  • Work as a member of the larger school administrative team;
  • Assist your principal in the development and implementation of policies, programs, curriculum activities and budgets for your school; and
