What it's like

  • Café Assistants: You'll start the day preparing, packaging and serving breakfast to students, then repeat the same process for lunch.
  • After lunch, you'll clean up and can finish up the workday in the early afternoon, allowing time to maintain your day-to-day commitments outside of work.
  • Assistant managers and managers: You'll enjoy a varied daily schedule of leading your team, supporting operations and overseeing program administration.
  • Transport and warehouse drivers: You'll load, transport and deliver food and supplies to schools.

What it takes

  • 18+ years old with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Food service experience a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Cafe managers: Completion of our paid Manager Training Program
  • Transporters: Valid driver's license and ability to drive a commercial van
  • Drivers: Valid driver's license and ability to drive a non-CDL box truck
